The Southern California team 949 B12 Black swept Balboa Bay 25-16, 25-21 in the Open 18 Division championship match at the USA Volleyball Boys’ Junior National Championship earlier this week in Phoenix, Arizona. All-conference outside attacker David Wieczorek had a match-high 15 kills as No. 5/6 Pepperdine swept USC 25-20, 26-24, 25-23 on Thursday in Los Angeles to clinch home court advantage for the opening round of the MPSF Tournament.
