Outside attacker Jordan Hoppe had both a match-high 13 kills and three aces to help Concordia-Irvine upset No. 5/5 UC Irvine 25-23, 25-19, 25-21 on Wednesday in Irvine, California.

Hoppe was one of three Eagles with double-digit kills as the team extended its winning streak to five matches and earned its first all-time win against UC Irvine. No. 14 Concordia-Irvine rallied from a two-game deficit on the road to upset No. 2/2 BYU 19-25, 16-25, 25-22, 25-21, 16-14 on Thursday in Provo, Utah.
