Match-point video: Lewis knocks off UC Irvine in fifth-game OT

Preseason All-American Tyler Mitchem converted on a match-winning kill attempt as No. 6/7 Lewis defeated No. 8/8 UC Irvine 25-21, 21-25, 20-25, 25-20, 22-20 on Thursday in Irvine, California.

MIVA adds five new inductees to conference’s hall of fame

Five former all-conference players who led their teams to championships will receive an honor only reserved for the best players and contributors in MIVA history.

The oldest college volleyball conference announced Monday that Purdue Fort Wayne’s Jay Golsteyn, George Williams’ Ken Mattison and Marv Zimmerman, Lewis’ Victor Rivera and Ball State’s Keith Thornburgh were all selected to be inducted into the MIVA Hall of the Fame. King schedules challenging Midwest road trip to open 2020 season

The opening weekend of the 2020 college men’s volleyball season has the potential to provide a preview of a NCAA Tournament match-up.

Erskine, Lewis, NJIT players make Puerto Rico roster for U21 World Championship

Three NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball players have traveled halfway around the world to represent Puerto Rico at one of the top international tournaments of the summer.

NJIT setter Roque Nido, Lewis middle attacker Antonio Elias Rodriguez and Erskine setter Francisco Pomar were selected to the Puerto Rican Men’s Junior National Team for the FIVB U21 World Championship that started on Thursday in Bahrain. Hawai’i puts away pesky Lewis to reach NCAA finals
