The pending retirement of Hall of Fame coach Arnie Ball did not slow down IPFW’s recruiting efforts.

Ball on the verge of entering his final season announced during the weekend that high school seniors Alex Dickmann, Kyle Fitzgerald, Austin Neace and Graydon Schroeder all signed to letters of national intent to join IPFW in 2016.

Four teams selected for inaugural Off the Block East vs. Midwest Challenge

A new annual non-conference tournament is coming to college men’s volleyball that will have teams from the two oldest conferences playing each other.

Off the Block announced Tuesday that Ball State, IPFW, Penn State and St. Francis will be part of the inaugural Off the Block East vs. Midwest Challenge during the 2015 season.

Conference tournament semifinal matches to follow tonight

The postseason spotlight is shining on the Midwest tonight as the MIVA Tournament continues.

No. 1 Loyola and IPFW will play each other in the conference tournament semifinals with the Mastodons eyeing to pull off one of its biggest upsets in program history. In addition, Lewis in the other semifinal will play its rival Ball State and try to make its case for a possible at-large bid.
