Hawai’i setter Worsley wins 2019 Lloy Ball Award

Hawai’i setter Joe Worsley is officially the top setter in the country.

Off the Block announced Friday that a nationwide voting committee selected Worsley as the recipient of the 2019 Lloy Ball Award.

The Lloy Ball Award, which is named after the former Purdue Fort Wayne All-American and U.S. Olympian setter, is presented to the nation’s best setter in NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball during the regular season. Continue reading “Hawai’i setter Worsley wins 2019 Lloy Ball Award”

Hawai’i puts away pesky Lewis to reach NCAA finals

Bracketology: Team comparisons using selection committee criteria

Two weeks before the start of the college men’s volleyball postseason and the bracketology battle teams remain tight.

Off the Block crunched the numbers using the same criteria as the selection committee to show how the top teams in the nation fare against each other in the race for the two at-large bids and NCAA Tournament positioning.
