The non-profit organization provides financial and emotional support to families who have premature babies born 14 or more weeks before their due date. The group that Friend and his wife, the Lewis women’s volleyball head coach, founded during the offseason is name after their 1-year-old daughter who was born premature. Middle attacker John Hodul had a match-high seven blocks and and added six kills with zero attack errors to help No. 8/7 Lewis beat No. 15 Penn State 28-2, 25-14, 16-25, 19-25, 15-9 on Friday in University Park, Pennsylvania.
