The former Wake Forest women’s volleyball coach is moving to college men’s volleyball and the newest EIVA member.

All the formalities have been completed and Charleston is now an official member of the EIVA.

Eight college men’s volleyball players were selected to the inaugural Off the Block All-Independent Team on Monday.
The Off the Block All-Independent Team honors the top men’s volleyball players on teams in NCAA Division I-II or transitioning to NCAA Division I-II that competed as independents without a conference this season. Similar to an all-conference team, the All-Independent Team recognizes outstanding individual performances during the regular season. The biggest home match for Charleston in its inaugural season will take place during the opening weeks of the upcoming season.
Charleston as part of unveiling its 2015 regular season schedule announced that the first-year program will play a non-conference match against George Mason on Jan. 24.
