A nationwide voting committee selected nine players to the annual Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American Team.

The Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American Team honors the top NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball freshmen players from the regular season. Stanford setter James Shaw one year after being sidelined with an injury achieved a feat not accomplished by a setter in almost a decade.

No. 13 Ball State and IPFW renew their in-state rivalry tonight as two schools separated by less than 100 miles will play each in an early-season conference match.
