The All-American senior had a season-high 30 kills on a .440 attack percentage as Hawai’i rallied from a two-game deficit to beat No. 1/2 BYU 20-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-23, 19-17 in front of a sold-out crowd Friday in Honolulu. Recipients unveiled for Off the Block National Weekly Awards

Off the Block announced on Monday the recipients of the National Position Player of the Week Awards and the National Freshman of the Week.

The National Position Player of the Week Awards recognize the libero, middle attacker, opposite, outside attacker and setter who had the best performances in NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball during the week. In addition, the National Player of the Week is presented to the top freshman from the week in NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball. Match-point video: Lewis knocks off UC Irvine in fifth-game OT

Preseason All-American Tyler Mitchem converted on a match-winning kill attempt as No. 6/7 Lewis defeated No. 8/8 UC Irvine 25-21, 21-25, 20-25, 25-20, 22-20 on Thursday in Irvine, California.
