Bounced Back: United States sweeps Italy to win Olympics bronze medal

Outside attacker TJ DeFalco came through in the biggest moment to put the United States on the medal podium.

Heartbreak: United States loses to Poland in five games in Olympics semifinals

A career-best Olympic performance from Matt Anderson was not enough to put the United States in the gold-medal match.

The four-time Olympian led all players with a career-high 23 kills on a .459 attack percentage as the United States lost to Poland 25-23, 25-27, 14-25, 25-23, 15-13 in the semifinals on Wednesday in Paris.
