What to know: St. Thomas Aquinas fresh off of a program record setting offensive performance will now travel and try to avenge an early-season loss. St. Thomas Aquinas and Long Island will conclude their home-and-home non-conference series after Long Island won the opener in four games earlier this season. St. Thomas Aquinas since that loss has won its last two matches and hit a single-match program-record .536 in a sweep against Daemen on Saturday. Pin-hitter Gabriel Viera leads the ECC and is in the nation’s top 20 with a 3.74 kills per game average. Viera also had 12 kills on a .409 attack percentage against Daemen and now enters this match with double-digit kills in five consecutive amtches. Long Island outside attacker Chase Celichowski is in the top five of the NEC with both a 2.97 kills per game average and a .307 attack percentage. Celichowski has double-digit kills in all but three of the Sharks matches this season, including 10 kills agains the Trojans last week. Along with the offensive performance, Long Island is ninth in the nation holding opponents to a .190 attack percentage.
