Loyola finished last season earning a share of the MIVA regular season championship but was upset in the conference tournament quarterfinals.

The Ramblers return multiple starters, including All-MIVA opposite Parker Van Buren who was fifth in the nation with a 4.13 kills per game average. The team also adds freshman class with players from Illinois, California and the Czech Republic.
