A setter who helped lead their team to the NCAA Tournament will join the defending NEC champions.
Long Island announced via social media that Jack Sarnowski will be on the Sharks roster as a graduate transfer for the upcoming season.
Sarnowski finished last season in the nation’s top 15 with a 10.02 assists per game average and helped lead King to the ConfCarolinas championship and its first NCAA Tournament appearance in five years. The setter also had double-digit digs in two conference tournament matches en route to earning ConfCarolinas All-Tournament honors.
Sarnowski in four seasons with the Tornado accumulated more than 2,000 career assists.
Long Island after a third-place finish in the regular season upset both Daemen and Saint Francis in the inaugural NEC Tournament in April to win the conference championship. Among the starters returning for the Sharks in 2024 includes All-NEC opposite Luke Chandler.
