The biggest mover in the Division II coaches poll released on Wednesday morning was Concordia-Irvine who moved two spots to No. 4 in the poll.
The Golden Eagles upset then-undefeated Loyola last Thursday evening in four sets, on the strength of a career-high 19 digs from libero Jacob Reilly.
Charleston secured an additional first-place vote in this week’s poll – with two – after winning their first nine matches of the 2023 season.
Lewis maintained their lead atop of the Division II coaches poll, garnering the other 9 first place votes.
Both NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II men’s volleyball programs compete for the same national championship. The AVCA National Coaches Poll ranks the top 15 Division I-II men’s volleyball teams and is released each Monday during the regular season.
A national voting committee comprised of coaches from the more than 25 Division II teams determines the weekly rankings for the Division II National Coaches Poll.
The Division II National Coaches Poll will be released on the Off the Block website every Wednesday during the regular season.
