Add a No. 1 ranking to the list of accomplishments for UCLA in recent days.

The Bruins received all but three first-place votes and jumped one spot to No. 1 in the latest Off the Block National Media Poll that was released Tuesday.

UCLA swept a two-match series against Pepperdine last week to clinch the MPSF regular season championship for the first time in more than 20 years. It also extended its winning streak to seven matches entering the final week of the regular season.

The National Media Poll is the only rankings in NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball solely determined by media members. The 10 teams receiving the most votes are ranked in the National Media Poll, while other schools earning votes but finishing outside of the top 10 are considered teams receiving votes.

A new national media poll is released every Tuesday during the regular season on Off the Block’s website.
