What to know: This is a rematch of 2021 ConfCarolinas finals, where tournament champion Belmont Abbey defeated regular season champion Mount Olive to advance to the NCAA tournament play-in match. The Crusaders have picked up this season where they left off last year, having won eight of their ten matches, including seven sweeps. Mount Olive started off the season with a significant win over George Mason but has lost their last three matches, including five-game loss at North Greenville on Friday night. Belmont Abbey’s .141 opponent attack percentage is second-best nationally. On the offensive side of the ball, the Crusaders are led by outside attacker Matteo Miselli who has 3.81 kills per game on a .344 attack percentage.
