The potential future U.S. Olympians will all come together in Southern California while the upcoming Olympics takes place in Tokyo.

USA Volleyball announced the men’s rosters for the National Team Development Program that will begin July 28 in Anaheim, California.

This program will be a joint training session featuring the U.S. Men’s Collegiate National Team, the U.S. Men’s Junior National Team and the U.S. Boys’ Junior National Team.

The collegiate team includes recent college graduates along with current upperclassmen on NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball teams. The junior national team primarily features freshman and sophomores from NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball teams.

Penn State leads all schools with four players on the collegiate team roster. In addition, Long Beach State, Loyola and Stanford each have three current or former players selected to the roster.

Pepperdine, Princeton and Stanford all have a nation-best three players making the junior national team roster. Both Lewis and UCLA also have multiple players on this team.

All three U.S. squads participating in this program will not compete in any international tournaments this year. However, USA Volleyball has invited the national boys’ youth teams from Bulgaria, Canada and Puerto Rico to attend the training sessions in an effort to help create an international experience.
