Last week, Queens entered the Division II coaches poll for the first time ever. This week, they move up three spots and are ranked No. 7. The Royals have won their last five matches and eight of the last nine overall. Queens ranks in the top ten nationally with 9.58 digs per game, and a .218 opponent attack percentage.

The top six of the poll remain the same from last week. In fact, the only change is King and Queens changing spots, as the Tornado are now ranked No. 10.

Lewis earned all six first-place votes after sweeping a pair of matches at No. 4 Lindenwood last weekend. The Flyers have also won their last five matches and eight of their last nine.

There are three matches this weekend featuring a pair of ranked opponents. No. 1 Lewis hosts No. 8 Quincy this coming Friday and Saturday, while No. 6 Mount Olive hosts No. 9 North Greenville on Saturday.

Both NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II men’s volleyball programs compete for the same national championship. The AVCA National Coaches Poll ranks the top 15 Division I-II men’s volleyball teams and is released each Monday during the regular season.

A national voting committee comprised of coaches from the more than 15 Division II teams determines the weekly rankings for the Division II National Coaches Poll.

The Division II National Coaches Poll will be released on the Off the Block website every Tuesday during the regular season.
