On Saturday night, USC upset No. 6/6 UCLA in four games, 30-28, 32-30, 19-25, 26-24, in the opening match of the 2021 season. The Trojans, whose season was delayed a couple of weeks due to COVID-19, were led by outside attacker Brandon’s Browning 16 kills on a .393 attack percentage. The match featured 16 game points in the first two games, as well as a final frame that went OT.
