Hawai’i seniors, coach react to season cut short

Jonathan Bates | Associate Editor

Yesterday the Big West Conference announced they were cancelling spring competition and championships, which affected No. 2 Hawai’i among other teams. Additionally, the NCAA announced they were cancelling the men’s volleyball championship which was scheduled to be hosted by George Mason in May. Hawai’i was a favorite to make the finals of that tournament, so naturally the four Rainbow Warrior seniors were disappointed when they got news their season was over. The team returned to Manoa today, and a news conference was held upon their return.
