CSUN registered its fourth victory on the year by sweeping the NAIA team Vanguard 25-17, 25-21, 37-35 on Friday night in Northridge, California.
The Matadors needed nine match-points, and fought off four game-points to secure the victory in a third-game overtime.

CSUN, which out-hit Vanguard, .410 to .315, was led by outside attacker Griffin Walters’ 16 kills.
The Matadors also out-blocked the Lions 6.0 to 3.5, while out-served them 8 to 3 in aces.
Outside attacker Kyle Anema led Vanguard with 16 kills.
