Highlights: No. 8/8 UCLA uses strong block to overwhelm USC

No. 8/8 UCLA out-blocked its crosstown foes, 10.5 to 1 en route to a four-game victory on Sunday night.

The Trojans won the first game 25-23 on the strength of their four service aces, but the Bruins had the match’s final seven aces.

The Bruins out-hit the Trojans, .391 to .212, led by Cole Ketrzynski’s 16 kills and Daenan Gymiah’s 14 kills. The Trojans were led by Brandon Browning and Sam Lewis, who each had eight kills.
