Barton jumps ahead of Lindenwood in Division II Coaches Poll

Even UC San Diego defeating UC Irvine in consecutive weekend is enough to change the top four of Off the Block//Frisco Mo Division II National Coaches Poll released on Tuesday. By one single point, Barton and Lindenwood swapped spots in the poll.

Barton jumped to No. 5 in the Division II coaches poll, on the strength of their 3-0 record last week. The Bulldogs were led by All-American Angelos Mandilaris who had 42 kills on a .429 attack percentage. Barton has three more matches this weekend, highlighted by a rematch on ConfCarolinas tournament finals.

Both NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II men’s volleyball programs compete for the same national championship. The AVCA National Coaches Poll ranks the top 15 Division I-II men’s volleyball teams and is released each Monday during the regular season.
