No. 5/6 Long Beach State won the first two games, but needed #CincoSets to take care of a feisty Concordia-Irvine team on Saturday evening. Beach outside attacker paced the team with 21 kills, while Concordia-Irvine outside attacker Raymond Barsemian had 25 kills. The Beach hit .487 in the first, second, and final games, while hitting only .185 in games three and four. Beach middle attacker Simon Andersen had 31 kills versus one error on 45 attempts for the weekend. Barsemian and Andersen were named Off the Block outside attacker and co-middle attacker of the week.
