One match into his tenure as Ohio State’s head coach and Kevin Burch remains undefeated.

Burch earned his first career victory as Ohio State swept North Greenville 25-17, 27-25, 25-19 in its season opener on Saturday in Columbus, Ohio.
Freshman setter Michael Wright had 38 assists and guided the Ohio State offense to out-hit North Greenville .326 to .268. In addition, freshman middle attacker Samuel Clark had 10 kills and one attack error on a match-high .750 attack percentage.
