No. 1 seed Princeton held off a hot No. 2 seed Penn State in #CincoSets on Saturday night at home to win the 2019 EIVA Tournament title. The Tigers will play ConfCarolinas champion Barton on Thursday in the NCAA Tournament play-in match in Wilson, North Carolina. Princeton won the fifth game, 15-13, to secure their first EIVA title since 1998. Princeton opposite George Huhmann led all players with 25 kills while attacking at a .426 clip. Penn State was led by opposite Brett Wildman’s 24 kills. The Tigers outhit the Nittany Lions, . 373 to .318, and out-blocked them 12 to 5.
