Grand Canyon outside attacker Camden Gianni months after undergoing heart surgery is hoping to return the to a volleyball court if he passes all his medical evaluations in the upcoming months.
Gianni said in an interview with Off the Block senior contributor Brandon Johnson on Sunday that he will have stress tests in April and July that will determine when he can begin playing volleyball again.
The freshman suffered a medical emergency during a team practice on Dec. 28 and was taken to local hospital where he was diagnosis with a heart condition. Gianni following this emergency returned to his home in Southern California to have heart surgery.
