Setter Chris Hall for the second time in a week guided the offense to hit more than .400 in a home victory against a top-10 nationally ranked team.
No. 9/9 USC finished with a .402 attack percentage as it swept No. 10/10 BYU 25-20, 25-22, 25-21 on Saturday to move within one-match of first place in the MPSF.
Opposite Ryan Moss in the victory had nine kills and zero errors on a .474 attack percentage. In addition, outside attackers Jacky Wyett and Grasso Gianluca each had a match-high 11 kills against the Cougars.
Middle attacker Sam Lewis also contributed five kills and led all players with seven blocks.
USC has won eight of its last nine matches. Among those victories includes hitting .493 in a sweep against then-No. 1/1 Long Beach State last weekend and beating No. 6/6 Stanford in five games on Friday.
