No. 4/4 UCLA defeated No. 9/9 Stanford at home in a five-game match on Thursday.
The Bruins in the win were without several injured players – Brandon Rattray (opposite), Dylan Missry (outside attacker), and Adam Parks (setter).

Outside attacker Austin Matautia, who started out with four errors on his first four attacks, but hit his stride in the second game to go 12-1-22 for the rest of the match. The Hawai’i-transfer also added in eight digs and four blocks in the process (all season highs).
