Four wins in its last five matches has helped Lewis move up in the national rankings.

The Flyers following two conference victories during the weekend jumped two spots to No. 8 in the latest Off the Block National Media Poll that was released on Tuesday.

Lewis swapped spots with BYU in the top-10 rankings. The Cougars dropped in the polls for the second straight week as their losing streak increased to four matches and are now No. 10 in the National Media Poll.

The National Media Poll is the only rankings in NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball solely determined by media members. The 10 teams receiving the most votes are ranked in the National Media Poll, while other schools earning votes but finishing outside of the top 10 are considered teams receiving votes.

A new national media poll is released every Tuesday during the regular season on Off the Block’s website.
