The 12 aces are good for fifth-best in a single-match in Pepperdine program history during the rally-scoring era.
The Tigers were boosted by out-blocking the Waves 7.5 to 4.
The Tigers continue their first West Coast swing of 2019 season by taking on No. 2 UCLA on Wednesday, while Pepperdine continues its home stand against UC San Diego on Thursday.
