The best scheduled non-conference match-ups involving EIVA teams during the 2019 season will be unveiled on Off the Block in the upcoming days.
Off the Block announced the countdown of The Top 15 EIVA Non-Conference Matches will begin Friday. Each day as part of this countdown Off the Block will reveal a marque non-conference match featuring an EIVA team leading up to the No. 1 match that will be released on Friday, Sept. 21.
The Top 15 EIVA Non-Conference Matches is a collaboration between the EIVA and Off the Block. In addition, this list will be the first time that a majority of these upcoming matches are made public.
The EIVA is oldest East Coast men’s volleyball conference and has eight members — Charleston, George Mason, Harvard, NJIT, Penn State, Princeton, St. Francis and Sacred Heart. It also is one of the five NCAA Division I-II men’s volleyball conference that receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Among the conference’s signature non-conference wins last season included St. Francis beating Stanford, George Mason defeating Ball State and Princeton on the road beating Lindenwood.
The Off the Block editors will determine the rankings for The Top 15 EIVA Non-Conference Matches.
