Quick hits: College men’s volleyball players’ performances in World League

TJ DeFalco | United States | Long Beach State
DeFalco played in all three World League matches for the United States during the weekend, including contributing seven kills and an ace in a sweep against Russia on Saturday. The 2017 AVCA National Player of the Year also had added six kills and a block in the team’s four-game loss to France on Sunday.

Jeff Jendryk | United States | Loyola
Jednryk coming off the bench had five kills and zero attack errors along with two blocks as the United States lost to France in four games on Sunday.

Miki Jauhiainen | Finland | BYU
Jauhiainen did not play in any of Finland’s three home matches last week as the team went 2-1 to jump to ninth place in the World League Group 2 standings.

Alex Harthaller | Austria | Pepperdine
Harthaller did not play in any of Austria’s matches during the weekend. Austria finished the weekend 2-1 to end World League play at 4-2 and fourth place in Group 3.
