All-American outside attacker Jake Langlois once again elevated his play to give an injured No. 4/4 BYU another conference victory.
Langlois had a match-high 19 kills on a .378 attack percentage to help BYU sweep No. 9 Pepperdine 25-22, 25-22, 26-24 on Saturday in Malibu, California.
The Cougars out-hit the Waves .320 to .302 as they completed the weekend series sweep and moved within one match of first place in the MPSF. BYU also is on an 11-match winning streak, including winning the last eight matches without injured All-American opposite Ben Patch.
This was third consecutive match that Langlois had at least 15 kills and a .350 attack percentage.
