Every match matters when it comes to the college men’s volleyball bracketology — even if Selection Sunday is still two months away.
Off the Block throughout February and March will release weekly bracketology updates of what teams still have a chance at the two at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Teams each week will be placed into four categories based on real-time match results — in contention, still kind of in contention, fringe of contention and out of contention.
For these calculations and category placements, Off the Block used a variety of factors including a team’s overall record, projected conference RPI and historical win-loss data of at-large teams in recent years. In addition, the calculations do not use projected results of future matches.
Check out what college men’s volleyball teams still have a chance at earning an at-large bid.
