What to know: Nothing like getting another opportunity to beat the top-ranked team in the nation after already pulling off that upset less than 24 hours earlier. No. 5/5 Hawai’i defeated No. 1/1 UCLA in four games on Friday to end the Bruins’ run at an undefeated season, and the two teams will now meet again in the finale of their two-match series. Freshman Stijn van Tilburg in the upset led all players with a career-high 21 kills. van Tilburg entered the weekend series one of five MPSF players with more than a 4.00 kills per game average. Hawai’i outside attacker Sinisa Zarkovic, the MPSF leader with a 4.62 kills per game average, added 15 kills and the match-winning ace against UCLA. Despite being held to a negative attack percentage in its opening-game loss, Hawai’i rallied from the one-game deficit and hit more than .300 in each of the final three games. UCLA enters this series finale after being the final team in the nation to suffer a loss this season. Freshman setter Micah Ma’a in his return to his home state led the Bruins with nine kills on a .316 attack percentage and 23 assists against the Rainbow Warriors. UCLA is also on a five-match losing streak against Hawai’i dating back to 2014 — their longest losing streak to the Rainbow Warriors in their series history. In addition, the winner of this match will be in sole possession of first place in the MPSF.
No. 3/2 BYU (7-2, 5-2 MPSF) vs. No. 10/8 UC Santa Barbara (8-4, 4-3 MPSF)

What to know: No. 3/2 BYU will once again have to find a way overcome No. 10/8 UC Santa Barbara’s front-row defense to complete the two-match home sweep. The Cougars and Gauchos will conclude their conference series after BYU swept UC Santa Barbara on Friday. Despite UC Santa Barbara having double-digit blocks, the Cougars finished the series opener out-hitting the Gauchos .330 to .165. All-American opposite Ben Patch in the victory had a match-high 16 kills on a .303 attack percentage and led BYU with nine digs. Middle attacker Price Jarman added a match-high six blocks for his third match this season with at least five blocks. UC Santa Barbara outside attacker Jacob Delson and middle attacker Connor Drake each had a team-high five blocks in the loss. All-American setter Jonah Seif also led the Gauchos defensively with 10 digs.
Harvard (3-3, 0-0 EIVA) vs. Springfield (9-1)

What to know: Harvard will attempt to defend its Volleyball Hall of Fame Morgan Classic title in a championship rematch against Springfield. Both Harvard and the defending-NCAA Division III finalists Springfield reached the championship match of the non-conference tournament for the second consecutive year. Harvard defeated Puerto Rico Mayaguez in four games in its semifinal match on Friday. Opposite Branden Clemens in the victory had a match-high 18 kills on a .400 attack percentage. The senior also enters this championship match fourth in the EIVA with a 3.86 kills per game average. Springfield in the other semifinal match defeated New York in four games on Friday. The Pride had three players finish the match double-digit kills, including Ricardo Padilla Ayala who had a match-high 17 kills on a .696 attack percentage.
