Limited movement may be an understatement with the RPI.
The top seven teams in the poll from last week remained unchanged in the latest RPI rankings released Monday afternoon.
Lewis and Loyola maintain the top two spots, while UC Irvine, Hawai’i and Ohio State once again rounded-out the top-five of the RPI.
The RPI is determined by a mathematical formula that uses a team’s winning record, its opponents’ winning record and its opponents’ strength of schedule. This is also the first year that the RPI will be part of the criteria used to select the NCAA Tournament field.
This is the last RPI ranking before the season’s final ranking is released on Selection Saturday.
