What to know: The reward for Lindenwood getting its first postseason victory since becoming a NCAA Division II member is pretty daunting. Lindenwood will go on the road once again to play No. 1 Lewis in the conference tournament semifinals. The Flyers are undefeated at home this season and attempting to become the 10th consecutive No. 1 seed in the MIVA Tournament to reach the championship match. Outside attackers Geoff Powell and Greg Petty are both in the conference’s top 10 averaging more than a 3.10 kills per game and earned First-Team All-MIVA honors. Powell finished fifth in voting for the inaugural Karch Kiraly Award, which is presented to the nation’s top outside attacker. In addition, Petty also had a combined 23 kills and a .541 attack percentage in Lewis’ two sweeps against Lindenwood in the regular season. Lindenwood rallied from a road deficit late in the fifth game to upset the No. 4 seed IPFW in the MIVA Tournament quarterfinals on Friday. All-conference opposite Colin Hackworth in the victory had a match-high 16 kills. In addition, Hackworth is second in the conference and among the national leaders with a 3.83 kills per game average.
