No. 2 USC on a night when it honored two of the top offensive players in its program’s history had its best offensive performance of the season.
USC finished with a season-high .543 attack percentage as it swept Cal State Northridge 25-16, 25-17, 25-17 on Friday in Los Angeles to remain undefeated this season.
The Trojans (6-0, 5-0 MPSF) had more than a .500 attacker in all three games and committed six attack errors throughout entire match. In addition, outside attacker Alex Sought in the victory led all players with 13 kills.
Along with the conference win, USC following the match retired the jerseys of former All-American player Tom Duke and Bryan Ivie.
