Video: No. 2 Loyola rolls through AVCA Showcase, sweeps No. 10 Stanford

Eight months later and outside attacker Cody Caldwell still continued to wreak havoc against Stanford.

Caldwell in an early-season rematch of last year’s NCAA finals had a match-high 10 kills and added four blocks as No. 2 Loyola swept No. 10 Stanford at the AVCA Showcase on Saturday in Palo Alto, California.

This was the second consecutive match that Caldwell finished with double-digit kills against Stanford. The Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Preseason All-American had 20 kills in the championship match last season and was named the NCAA Tournament most outstanding player.
