No. 9 UCLA with its postseason hopes on the line showed up in full force and made quick work of Cal Baptist.
The Bruins hit a season-high .522 attack percentage and committed just one attack error in the first two games as they swept the Lancers 25-20, 25-12, 25-23 on Thursday in Los Angeles.
Outside attacker Gonzalo Quiroga and opposite Spencer Rowe each led all players with 12 kills. In addition, the victory moves UCLA into a tie for sixth place in the MPSF and it can now clinch a postseason berth if it wins its season finale against No. 2 BYU.
