Schedule released for the 2014 College Men’s Volleyball Awards Week

The schedule is now set for when some of the top individual awards in college men’s volleyball will be presented.

Off the Block on Thursday unveiled its schedule for the College Men’s Volleyball Awards Week presented by Springbak, Inc., that will begin next week.


Each college men’s volleyball season Off the Block presents a variety of player and media awards to recognize the outstanding individual performances from around the nation. Among the awards Off the Block will present this year includes the Lloy Ball Award for the nation’s top setter, the Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American Team, the Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Blocker of the Year and the Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Server of the Year.

Every player award presented by Off the Block is voted upon by nationwide committee comprised of college men’s volleyball coaches and media members. In addition, the media awards presented by Off the Block come following a season-long media analysis of men’s volleyball coverage from around the nation.

Tuesday, April 22 — Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Blocker of the Year winner
