Conference Carolinas announces 2014 All-Conference awards

A player who broke almost every career offensive record at Mount Olive is now ending his college career earning the conference’s top individual honor.

The Conference Carolinas announced Thursday that Mount Olive outside attacker Angel Dache was selected as the 2014 Conference Carolinas Player of the Year.

Dache in his senior season led the conference and was in the nation’s top 10 with a 4.11 kills per game average. The three-time all-conference player also had five matches during the regular season with at least 20 kills and set the Mount Olive all-time career record for kills.
