No. 4 Pepperdine swept away No. 2 Long Beach State’s conference-best eight-match winning streak and in the process moved into second place in the MPSF.
Pepperdine held Long Beach State to less than a .200 attack percentage and swept the 49ers 25-21, 25-21, 27-25 on Thursday in Malibu, Calif.
