Video: Men’s volleyball national media poll ballot breakdown

The team with the nation’s longest winning streak is back in the top 10 of the national media poll.

Penn State after a one-week absence from rankings moved back to No. 10 in the new Volleyball Magazine Poll released Tuesday.

The Nittany Lions are on a nation-best 12-match winning streak, including closing out their season-long 11-match homestead undefeated last weekend.

  1. I completely disagree ranking Penn State at No. 4. The argument that it “doesn’t matter what teams they’re playing” is pretty flawed. The teams that they are beating are not near the caliber of teams in the MPSF. I would agree that they deserve the No. 10 spot, but I would put LBSU, USC and Pepperdine ahead of Penn State any day.
