A team from the MIVA for the time in recent history earned the top spot in the national media poll.
Loyola received three first-place votes and jumped up one spot to No. 1 in the new Volleyball Magazine national media poll released Tuesday morning.
The Ramblers were one of four schools to receive multiple first-place votes in the new media poll. This is also the first time in its program history that Loyola has been ranked No. 1 in any national poll.
