The latter was by any meaningful measure the better match. More competitive, more entertaining, more fun to watch, and I like the result better, too. Nothing against BYU (or UCLA, for that matter) I was just happy to see Hawaii get rewarded for how much they’ve been battling this year. Like I said in my write-up, I still don’t expect much out of them in the MPSF season this year. But they’ll have their moments.
