UCLA finishes home preseason event undefeated

UCLA’s preseason home tournament could not have gone much better for the Bruins and new head coach John Speraw.

UCLA defeated Cal State Northridge and UC Santa Barbara on the final day of the SAC Tournament on Saturday to finish the preseason event undefeated.


Outside attacker Robart Page had match-high 22 kills as UCLA beat Cal State Northridge in five games in its first match Saturday.

This was the second consecutive match that Page led UCLA in kills. Page had 15 kills in a four-game victory against USC on Friday.

UCLA concluded the tournament with a sweep against UC Santa Barbara. Spencer Rowe and Jonathan Bridgeman each led the Bruins in the victory with seven kills.
