An all-state outside attacker and two all-area players will join Lewis beginning in the 2013 season.
Lewis coach Dan Friend announced Monday that high school seniors Kyle Rohde, Rick Bishop and Daniel Ford have each signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Flyers.
Rohde, a 6-5 outside hitter from Brookfield, Wisc., was a Second-Team All-State selection as a junior and senior at Brookfield East High School. He also was a member of the Boys USA A2 Red team that finished in first place at the International Youth Championships.
Bishop, a 6-4 middle hitter from Channahon, Ill., was named to the Plainfield North and Northside Prep All-Tournament Teams as a junior. In addition, Bishop helped his club team finish in second place at the St. Louis qualifer for the National Junior Olympics.
Ford, a 6-4 setter from Newtown, Pa., was named to the Suburban One All-League team as a sophomore and junior for Council Rock North High School. As the starting setter last year, Ford helped lead Council Rock North to an undefeated season and its first district championship
No. 7 Lewis (13-3, 3-1 MIVA) is in second place in the MIVA and the highest nationally ranked team in the conference.
