Volleyball fans can now Tweet their championship match predictions for the Off the Block Volleyball Hall of Fame Morgan Classic Twitter Challenge.
The Off the Block Volleyball Hall of Fame Morgan Classic Twitter Challenge is a contest that gives fans the opportunity to win a Volleyball Hall of Fame prize pack for predicting who will win one of the most prestigious tournaments.
Volleyball Hall of Fame Morgan Classic is a four-team tournament that will be played this weekend in Springfield, Mass., and is one of the oldest annual events in NCAA men’s volleyball. The tournament on Friday will feature two semifinal matches — Springfield versus UC Santa Cruz and Cal Baptist versus Lees-McRae — with the two winners playing in the championship match on Saturday.
Twitter challenge participants before the Morgan Classic begins Friday can Tweet to the official Off the Block Twitter account, @offtheblock11, who they think will be in the championship match, the team that will win the tournament and in how many games.
The person who most accurately predicts the final score will receive a Volleyball Hall of Fame prize pack. The prize pack includes Morgan Classic T-shirt, a Volleyball Hall of Fame pin and a copy of the original rules to the sport.
In the event of a tie for first place at the end of the tournament, one contestant from the first-place Tweets will be randomly selected for the grand prize.
The deadline to submit a prediction for the Twitter challenge is 6 p.m. (EST) Friday.
